Job Title: Planning Executive
Order Processing & Sample Coordination
- Log and track incoming orders forwarded by the sales divisions.
- Collect proto, mock-up, and costing requests originating from sales, forwarding them to the development team for action.
Product Setup & Work Order Generation
- Assign SKU codes within the system for newly introduced products.
- Create and dispatch work orders to the leather goods and footwear manufacturing units.
Material & Leather Procurement Requests
- Draft leather requisitions in coordination with the Cutting Incharge, secure sign-off from the Operations Head, and forward to the tannery for processing.
- Compile material requisitions with Cutting Incharge input, obtain Operations Head approval, and submit to the Stores/Inventory department.
Record-Keeping & Tracker Management
- Keep the order log, proto log, mock-up log, and costing log current for every enquiry raised by sales.
- Produce outward transfer paperwork for completed goods moving from production units into the Finished Goods Store.
Production Scheduling & Reports
- Draft and distribute the daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules for the production units, working alongside the Operations Head.
- Compile and share the daily output summary for production operations.
- Prepare and issue the weekly comparison report of planned versus actual production.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Working proficiency in MS Excel — entering data, building formulas, applying filters, and maintaining logs/reports.
- General familiarity with ERP platforms and how orders flow into production.
- High level of accuracy and thoroughness in handling paperwork and records.
- Effective liaison and follow-through capabilities across sales, manufacturing, and warehouse teams.
- Capacity to meet recurring reporting deadlines (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Solid written communication skills for distributing schedules and reports.
Education & Background
- Any bachelor’s degree; candidates with exposure to production, logistics, or business management are preferred.
- Previous experience in scheduling, production support, or documentation-focused roles — manufacturing sector experience (especially leather or footwear) is a plus but not required.
- Exposure to ERP-driven order and manufacturing processes is beneficial.
